UNC softball player Burkhardt gets notice
Oklahoma City, Okla. The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America and USA Softball named Tar Heel signee Kristina Burkhardt to a list of young players who have been identified for the National Team athlete pool following participation at the 2015 USA Softball Junior Olympic Cup in Chino Hills, Calif., last July.
An outfielder from Fort Wayne, Ind., Burkhardt led the Indiana Magic Gold team to a 2-2 record at the inaugural JO Cup.

Duke: The volleyball team finished the 2015 season ranked among the top offensive team in the country in both kills per set and assists per set.
The Blue Devils averaged 14.46 kills per frame to rank third in the ACC and 11th nationally. The team was one of just 13 NCAA Division I squads to average over 14.40 kills per set. They have averaged over 14.0 kills per set and ranked in the top 12 nationally in that category.
