On this episode of HBCU Voice, the panelists interview Shaw football coach Adrian Jones.
Jones, 42, a former N.C. Central assistant coach, was hired in March to turn around a struggling Shaw football program. Last season, Shaw finished the season with a disappointing 1-9 record. Jones has also coached at Southern High School in Durham, where he led his team to a state championship.
We asked Jones about his goals for Shaw football, and asked him to weigh in on a discussion about why HBCU’s are having the most trouble with the NCAA’s APR scores.
