Leesville Road became the first team to hand Broughton a regular-season loss in volleyball since 2014 as the Pride eked out a 3-2 win on its home floor on Thursday (16-25, 24-26, 25-12, 25-14, 15-10).

Both teams now sit 4-1 in the Cap-8 Conference. Leesville’s only conference loss was to Wakefield.
