Ravenscroft tennis star is N&O athlete of the week
Raleigh Ravenscroft tennis player Jae Ramsey is the Raleigh News & Observer athlete of the week.
Ramsey received more than 50 percent of 7,089 votes cast. She finished ahead of Thales Academy’s Cameron Brewer and Cary Christian’s Burke White.
Ramsey, a sophomore, is her school’s No. 1 player. She won both of her matches last week, including rallying from a first set to win her match against an opponent from Durham Academy.
