Jordan swimmer Sydney Heeden is the News & Observer high school athlete of the week.

The Falcons’ junior won all four events she competed in a meet versus East Chapel Hill at the Homestead Aquatic Center Dec. 14.

Heeden won the 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly, while helping both the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays to victory at the same meet.

The Jordan girls’ swim team (5-1) lost to East Chapel Hill.
