Cary Christian swimmer Chloe Chan is the News & Observer high school athlete of the week.
The Knights’ junior won all four events she competed in to help the Cary Christian girls’ swim team to victory in a six-team meet at Epiphany School in New Bern Jan. 7.
Chan won the 200 freestyle (2:14.65), the 100 breaststroke (1:20), while helping the 200 and 400 freestyle relays to victories at the same meet.
Chan also swims year-round for Raleigh Swim Association.
