The big matchup this past week didn’t fall the way most expected, and that result forced a shift near the top of the Sweet 16 this wee. Wake Forest held serve at home against Wakefield, which suffered just its second loss of the season. That setback caused the Wolverines to tumble a couple of spots from No. 2 to No. 4, allowing Jordan and Cleveland to inch closer to the top, where Trinity Academy remains entrenched.

A few other teams shifted around in the middle of the field, too. Wake Forest made the big leap to No. 6 from No. 11, while Enloe moved a few spots, as well.
