Millbrook’s Reychel Douglas is News & Observer girls Triangle athlete of the week
Millbrook High basketball star Reychel Douglas is the News & Observer’s girls athlete of the week in the Triangle.
The 6-foot junior scored 25 points, had 12 rebounds and five steals to lead Millbrook to a 56-45 win over Wake Forest Feb. 7.
The next night, Douglas scored 18 points, had 14 rebounds and six steals in a 50-42 victory at the same Wake Forest team.
Douglas is averaging 16.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.6 steals for Millbrook.
