Holly Springs Landon Parker, Falls Lake’s Madison Primm are N&O athletes of the week

Holly Springs lacrosse star Landon Parker and Falls Lake Academy softball player Madison Primm are the News & Observer’s Triangle high school athletes of the week.

Parker, a Golden Hawks’ senior scored six goals and had six groundballs to help Holly Springs to an 18-12 win over Apex Friendship April 1.

He also scored three goals, one assist and three groundballs in a 13-12, overtime loss at Middle Creek March 29.

Primm, a junior, went 1-for-1 with a home run, two RBI and two walks in a 16-3 win over Voyager Academy March 28.

She also went 1-for-2 with a home run, a RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases in a 14-2 loss to South Granville March 30.

Primm finished off the week by going 2-for-2 at the plate with two home runs, two RBI, two walks and three runs scored in a 21-5 victory over Granville Central April 1.
