Which are the best high school baseball teams in North Carolina? Check our rankings
Fourteen teams join this week’s N.C. statewide high school baseball polls.
The polls, sponsored by The Charlotte Observer and News & Observer of Raleigh, are compiled by longtime N.C high school baseball expert Tripp Roakes.
In addition to the new teams this week, there are four new top-ranked schools among the nine polls.
Longtime N.C. power Greenville Rose takes over the top spot in 5A from Charlotte Catholic. In 4A, Randleman jumps up one spot to No. 1. In 3A, East Rutherford moves up two spots to the top, and in 1A East Columbus moved up four spots to take over at No. 1
