High school football is underway and so is The News & Observer’s coverage. Here are tips for how to follow high school football online and in print.

LIVE GAME COVERAGE: Follow N&O reporters on Twitter and use the hashtag #rduscores to share scores. You can also find a live game ticker at nando.com/preps.

ONLINE UPDATES: As soon as games end, our reporters file stories and we post them to the web ASAP. Go to nando.com/preps for live updates of Friday night games, stories, photos, videos, scores and stats.

GAME STORIES: You may have noticed that most of the football game stories online and in print are presented in a different form than in the past, with categories that highlight the turning point, players who made a difference, quotes, key numbers and other key details of each game. The goal is to make the coverage easy to find and read whether on a mobile phone, laptop or the old-fashioned way – on paper.

IN PRINT: The late editions of Saturday’s newspaper will include full game reports from the top seven games of the night as well as a roundup of the rest of the games and complete box scores. Just in case you live in an area that receives the early edition, we also include a roundup of results in the Sunday sports section.

MULTIMEDIA: Go to nando.com/preps for video interviews with coaches and athletes as well as clips of big plays.
