The PAC-6 Conference has released its all-conference teams for fall sports.

In volleyball, league and state champ Cardinal Gibbons led the all-conference awards with Tori Dozier, an N.C. State recruit, winning player of the year while Logan Barber won coach of the year. The Crusaders also won the PAC-6’s sportsmanship award.

In cross country, East Chapel Hill’s Steve Marquis and Gibbons’ Nick Mangum won coach of the year awards as Gibbons’ Sophie Ebihara and Connor Lane won conference titles.

East Chapel Hill, one of four field hockey programs in the PAC-6, racked up the awards in that sport. The state champs were led by coach of the year Susan Taylor and player of the year Caroline Kolk.

In boys soccer, Gibbons won the top awards with Tim Healy and Jacob Pleasants winning coach and player of the year, respectively. Jordan won the sportsmanship award.

Hillside, the PAC-6 football champ for the sixth straight year, cleaned house in the postseason awards. Abdul Adams, Jaylen Laws, Brandon Sandy and Aaron McCullough were voted the best at their respective position groups, while Antonio King was voted coach of the year.

In Gibbons’ first year in the conference, the Crusaders won five conference championships – including the Carolina Central in girls golf, which includes teams from other leagues because the PAC-6 does not have enough programs.
