Big 8 all-conference boys soccer, volleyball, girls tennis and cross country teams, 2015
The Big 8 Conference has released its all-conference teams in boys and girls cross country, girls tennis, boys soccer and volleyball. Football is being withheld until Southern Durham exits the playoffs.
Chapel Hill claimed the majority of Big 8 titles, winning in boys and girls cross country, girls tennis and boys soccer. Cedar Ridge took home the volleyball championship.
Cedar Ridge’s Ian Elliott (boys cross country), Chapel Hill’s Katherine Dokholyan (girls cross country), Cedar Ridge’s Chris Walker (boys soccer), Chapel Hill’s Caroline Coch (girls tennis) and Orange’s Andie McKinnon (volleyball) won player of the year awards.
Though not all Big 8 teams play field hockey or girls golf, Northwood, Orange and Chapel Hill had all-conference selections as well.
