Roundup: Southeast Raleigh’s boys fall, ending Baker’s run
Southeast Raleigh’s boys’ basketball season came to an end in the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association playoffs with a road loss to Heritage, ending the coaching career of John Baker.
Baker has been the Bulldogs’ only coach since the school opened in 1997.

Broughton took down Knightdale on the road, setting up a second-round game at Garner. The Trojans blasted Wilmington’s Ashley High 88-65 thanks to a 38-point first quarter.
Leesville Road blasted Clayton 66-37 and will face Cap-8 foe Heritage next.
Green Hope stunned Wilmington’s Hoggard 70-54.
