The Franklin Academy Patriots defeated North Central Athletic Conference foe Woods Charter 3-1 on Wednesday night in the N.C. High School Athletic Association 1A girls soccer playoffs.

The top-seeded Patriots will host 4-seed East Carteret in the next round.
