N&O All-Metro boys golf team, 2016

Three state champions headline The News & Observer’s All-Metro boys golf teams.

Leesville Road’s Doc Redman took home the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A title, South Johnston’s Patrick Stephenson won the 3A and St. David’s Parker Gillam claimed the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association 2A crown.

All seven members of the All-Metro team were in the top 10 of their respective classifications. Four – Redman, Stephenson, Ravenscroft’s Ryan Gerard and Lee County’s Dalton Mauldin – were repeat selections.
