Mudcats defeat Keys 10-2
After taking the series opener Monday night, the Mudcats entered the game with hopes of winning the three-game series.
Carolina struck early with a home run from Sean Godfrey in the first inning. The Mudcats would continue to put runs on the board with a six-run fourth, and they went on to defeat Frederick 10-2 Tuesday night. Joseph Odom homered in the inning to bring in two of those runs.
Seth Webster earned his third win of the season, pitching seven innings, and giving up seven hits and two runs.
The Mudcats face Frederick Keys again Wednesday night.
