Casali hits walk-off single in 11th to help Durham Bulls beat Norfolk Tides 3-2
Curt Casali hit a walk-off single with one out in the 11th inning, as the Durham Bulls beat the Norfolk Tides 3-2 on Friday.
Jaff Decker scored the game-winning run after he reached base with a double and advanced to third on a wild pitch.
The Bulls tied the game 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth when Taylor Motter hit an RBI single, driving in Jake Goebbert.
The Bulls had four relievers combine to throw eight scoreless innings in the victory. Tyler Sturdevant (2-2) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Oliver Drake (0-4) took the loss in the International League game.
Despite the loss, Norfolk is 15-8 against Durham this season.
