Free ‘Test Fest’ on Wednesday at Charlotte Motor Speedway

What: NASCAR conducts an open test for Sprint Cup Series teams.

When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, with an hour break for lunch at noon.

Where: Charlotte Motor Speedway. Fans can enter the frontstretch grandstands beginning 9 a.m., through Gate 5A.

Cost: Free.

To do and see: Charlotte’s Test Fest will give fans the opportunity to watch a daylong test of NASCAR’s top teams, as well as the chance to take advantage of special ticket offers for upcoming races at the speedway. In addition, NASCAR Hall of Famer Junior Johnson will conduct an autograph session from 11 a.m. to noon. The Charlotte Motor Speedway Fan Van will be on hand with interactive games, along with the track’s mascot, Lug Nut.
