Catch the NFL Draft with fellow football fans at these Charlotte-area watch parties
The NFL Draft kicks off Thursday night, with the Carolina Panthers first on the clock with the No. 1 overall pick. And there are plenty of venues in the Charlotte area to catch all the action alongside your fellow football fans.
Whether you’re a Panthers fanatic, a transplanted fan of another franchise, or just eager to see where your alma mater’s star player will go at the next level, multiple bars and restaurants around the city are hosting watch parties or promoting draft specials.
And that’s all in addition to the Panthers’ official watch party at Bank of America Stadium.
Here are some NFL Draft watch parties and specials to check out around Charlotte:
All American Pub
Where: 200 E. Bland St., Charlotte, NC 28203
What to know: This South End sports bar will carry live coverage of the NFL Draft throughout the weekend, per the bar’s events page.
Angry Ale’s

What to know: Angry Ale’s will have the sound on their TVs as the draft begins Thursday and will offer drink specials, per the bar and restaurant’s Instagram.
Carolina Panthers 2023 Draft Party

What to know: Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Thursday for the Panthers’ official draft watch party. Fans will be allowed on the field at Bank of America Stadium, and the event will include an autograph session with “Panthers legends,” a 40-yard dash competition and more. Charlotte Jets Fans at Dilworth Grille
Where: 911 E. Morehead St., Charlotte, NC 28204
What to know: Charlotte-based fans of the New York Jets will gather at Dilworth Grille at 7:30 p.m. Thursday for an NFL Draft watch party, per the Charlotte Jets Fans group.
Graham St. Pub & Patio
Where: 400 S. Graham St., Charlotte, NC 28202
What to know: Not far from the official watch party at Bank of America Stadium, this pub is hosting a draft “pre-party” Thursday. The venue will also air the first round of the draft, and a DJ will perform on the rooftop before and after the draft, according to the restaurant’s Facebook.

What to know: Charlotte-based fans of the San Francisco 49ers will gather at Slingshot Charlotte for the Niner Empire of Charlotte’s official draft watch party at 8 p.m. Thursday, per the group’s Facebook.
