Svechnikov, Necas to attend Canes' development camp
The Carolina Hurricanes on Monday announced their prospect development camp roster, including three players taken in the first round of the NHL Draft in the past three years.
Forward Andrei Svechnikov, the second overall pick of the 2018 NHL Draft, and the other five players taken in the draft this past weekend will be on hand for the camp at PNC Arena.
Forward Martin Necas, the Canes' first-round pick in 2017, and defenseman Jake Bean, a first-rounder in 2016, again will attend.
All on-ice sessions are open to the public. Admission and parking are free.

Wednesday, June 27 5:30 p.m.: Practice 6:15 p.m.: Power skating
Thursday, June 28 9:45 a.m.: Skills session (veterans) 10:45 a.m.: Skills session (rookies) 5:30 p.m.: Practice 6:15 p.m.: Power skating
Friday, June 29 10 a.m.: Practice
Saturday, June 30 12 p.m.: Canes Prospect Game during Summerfest Celebration.
