Carolina Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov will donate 2,500 disposable masks and 25 containers of hand sanitizer (5.25 gallons each) to the Boys & Girls Clubs serving Wake County on Wednesday.

The masks and hand sanitizer will be used to help current Boys & Girls Clubs programs, including the food pantry at their Teen Center, food donations (more than 2,400 meals per week) and the delivery of supplies to Club members’ homes.

Svechnikov’s donations will also help the Boys & Girls Clubs serving Wake County to safely open to local kids and teens in the coming weeks after being closed because of the coronavirus threat.
