How to watch Carolina Hurricanes vs Boston Bruins, Game 4 on Monday

CAROLINA HURRICANES VS BOSTON BRUINS

WHAT: Game 4, First round of Stanley Cup playoffs

WHEN: 8 p.m., Monday.

WHERE: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto.

WATCH, LISTEN: Fox Sports Carolinas will televise the game and simulcast it on WCMC-99.9 The Fan. NBC Sports Network also is televising the game.

LOOK FOR: Goalie James Reimer to get his second start of the series for the Canes. Reimer is 2-0 in the postseason, beating the Bruins in Game 2, making 33 saves. Canes coach Rod Brind’Amour seems set on rotating hos goalies, alternating Reimer and Petr Mrazek. Brind’Amour said Monday that Reimer, during the NHL pause, “found a way to get better and that’s a testament to him.”

QUESTIONS: How badly will the Canes miss Andrei Svechnikov? It’s a team game but Svechnikov, injured late in Game 3, is such a big part of the team. Forward Ryan Dzingel will go back into the lineup Monday and Brind’Amour said: “Here’s his opportunity. We don’t just need him to step up, though. We need everybody to step up.”

OF NOTE: Canes center Sebastian Aho had a five-game postseason point streak end in Game 3 but leads all NHL skaters with 10 postseason points. Aho has 22 career points (eight goals, 14 assists) in 21 postseason games. In franchise history, only Kevin Dineen had more points in his first 21 postseason games with 24 in 1986-88.

QUOTABLE: “Whether it’s the playoffs or regular season that first goal is huge and the numbers back it up. It allows you to not have to press. There’s a little more sense of ease in your game when you’re playing with the lead.” -- Rod Brind’Amour on Monday.

UP NEXT: Game 5, Wednesday, 4 p.m.
