NHL drops full preseason schedule. Here’s who the Hurricanes will play, and when

The Carolina Hurricanes’ already knew who they were playing in the 2023 NHL preseason. Now, the rest of the league’s fall slate has been revealed, as well.

The Hurricanes will play six preseason exhibition games, including two with the Florida Panthers. The Canes, ousted by the Panthers in the Eastern Conference final of the 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs, will play Florida at PNC Arena on Sept. 27, and then at Florida in a split-squad contest on Sept. 29.

The Canes also will have home-and-home games with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Nashville Predators.

The first preseason game, at home against Tampa Bay, is Tuesday, Sept. 26.
