Canes game parking costs

Lenovo’s parking lots (there are 12) are located at 1400 Edwards Mill Road in Raleigh. There are general, VIP and premiere lots, along with a lot for buses, RVs and other large vehicles.

Here’s how much it costs to park at the Lenovo Center ahead of Game 2:

  • General parking: $48 online and $65 onsite

  • Premiere parking: $80 online and $95 onsite

  • Premiere Gold parking: $120 online and $135 onsite

  • Bus, limo and RV parking: $160 online and $200 onsite

  • VIP parking: $160 online and $200 onsite

Online prices don’t include service fees.

The Premier lots are closest to the Lenovo Center and require the least amount of walking. General parking is the farthest away (0.2 miles).

Fans that have not prepaid for their spots are suggested to arrive one hour before puck drop to secure parking. (Lenovo also warns of heavy traffic on I-40, I-440 and Wade Avenue on weekdays.)

Parking lots open three hours before hockey games, the website says.

How to pay for Canes parking online

Fans can secure cheaper parking by buying their tickets online ahead of the game.

Visit parkwhiz.com to purchase your spot. Many lots are sold out, and the cheapest available parking (as of Thursday 2 p.m.) starts at $48.

“We encourage the prepay option because it expedites traffic flow especially during capacity events like tonight,” said Crystal Pace, vice president of arena programming and marketing for the Lenovo Center.

Regular season pricing

Caniacs will know these are not the usual Canes game parking prices.

Regular season parking starts at $27 for cars and $100 for buses and RVs, Lenovo’s website says.

Free parking options for Canes games

To avoid paying for parking altogether, you can:

Taxi or Uber/Lyft to the arena: Drop-offs and pick-ups are directed to enter via Gate C (Trinity Road) and drive along the Carter Finley Roadway to the drop-off location.

Lenovo also has a Taxi Pick-Up & Drop-Off Zone, which is located right outside the VIP Entrance, the website says.

Take public transportation: GoRaleigh’s Route 26 Bus can drop you off across from the Lenovo Center.
