Editor's Note: The Carolina Hurricanes, fresh off of an exciting Game 5 win in Raleigh, traveled to Las Vegas with hopes of clinching the championship against the Golden Knights.
The Hurricanes are powered by strong play from captain Jordan Staal and reserve goalie Brandon Bussi. While some lucky fans traveled to Las Vegas from North Carolina for the game, thousands are gathering at watch parties at home, including at Raleigh’s Lenovo Center, and venues across downtown.
The Canes lead 2-0 at the end of the second period.
