The Carolina Hurricanes will hold their fourth Summerfest on July 6-9 at PNC Arena in conjunction with the team’s prospects development camp.

The development camp should have all or most of the team’s 2016 draft class, other previously-drafted or acquired players and select invitees. The players will have off-ice training and educational sessions, as well as on-ice sessions.

The prospects’ evening on-ice sessions on July 6-7 and the on-ice session at noon July 9 will be open to the public.

The Summerfest Celebration for Canes fans will be held Saturday, July 9 beginning at 10 a.m. and will feature an autograph session, equipment sale and State of the Hurricanes. The event will feature more than 20 interactive inflatables, games and experiences, guest speakers from the Hurricanes, appearances by Stormy and the Storm Squad, discounted concessions, hockey games and extended hours at The Eye team store.

Parking and admission are free to the Summerfest Celebration.

As part of Summerfest, the team will hold its annual hockey camps and clinics. The Elite Camp returns for its fourth year. Also returning will be the Power Skating Camp with instructor Dusan Kralik, who trains several NHL players. All camps will be held on NHL ice and will use NHL facilities at PNC Arena.
