The Louisburg Hurricanes defeated fourth-ranked Pima Community College 2-1 (OT) in the semifinal round of the NJCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship. The first-ranked Canes advance to the final game on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Max Blackmore scored the first goal of the game in the 67th minute and the Aztecs netted a goal in the 81st minute to send the match to overtime. Ben Foulds came through in the 95th minute to secure the Hurricanes (23-1-0) a chance for a national title.
Louisburg will face Eastern Florida State or Tyler, who faced off in Friday’s later semifinal.
