Raising Bertie (10 p.m., UNC-TV) – POV presents this award-winning documentary by filmmaker Margaret Byrne about three African American boys who come of age in rural Bertie County, NC, while navigating relationships, racism, violence, poverty and educational inequity. This film premiered at the 2016 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Durham.
