What to Watch on Friday: We get another Marvel show, but manage your expectations
Marvel’s Inhumans (8 p.m., ABC) – I can’t make myself care about all these Marvel TV shows, but even so, this one is generally considered – even by Marvel fans – to be pretty bad. Go into this with low expectations – and be patient, as “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” returns after this wraps up.
MacGyver (8 p.m., CBS) – A search for a missing Navy SEAL in the Season 2 opener.
Hell’s Kitchen (8 p.m., Fox) – Chef Gordon Ramsay welcomes back 16 all-stars for a second chance in the Season 17 opener.
Hawaii Five-0 (9 p.m., CBS) – A hacker releases a dangerous arsonist from prison in the Season 8 premiere.
The Exorcist (9 p.m., Fox) – A new malevolent presence is discovered at a home for at-risk foster kids in the Season 2 premiere.
Blue Bloods (10 p.m., CBS) – In the Season 8 premiere, Danny considers retiring until Erin asks for his help with a case involving her ex-husband.
Long Shot (Netflix) – In this documentary, an innocent man is accused of murder, leading his attorney on a mission to confirm his alibi among thousands of people in an LA Dodgers baseball stadium.
