Rescue Pup Claimed the Bed, and His Spare Human Can't Do Anything About It

No matter how much one cares for a dog, our furry friends are bound to choose one human over another. It's not that our pups don't care for both humans; it's just that one pet parent is the one they truly want to be with, and they simply deal with the other. While that might not be the case for every household, sometimes the clear preference for one human leads to hilarious situations.

Many times we've borne witness to dogs who steal their mom's boyfriends, or dogs that don't let their dads get even remotely close to their moms. The latter case is what ensued in Millie's house. This rescue pit mix made her decision very clear, and honestly, she made a very good point in her reasoning.

Millie the Rescue Pup Is a Girl's Girl, and She Doesn't Care One Bit

Mllie is a gorgeous 5-year-old rescue pit mix that has gone through a lot with her mom. As stated on her channel, both mom and Millie are navigating their anxieties, forging a strong bond between the two. Unfortunately for Millie, she also has a human dad. Although we are sure she cares for him, or at the very least allows for his presence, there's nothing like her bond with Mom.

In her latest social media clip, Millie's preference for mom was on full display. Lying in bed next to her human, Millie was expected to move over and make room for her dad. However, Millie made a very good point. Commenting on the moment, the overlay text reads, "POV: the spare human told you to get off the bed, but you have mom's last name." While we can't say it's entirely fair, we do understand that Millie might feel a little biased.

In the comments, one viewer commented, "Aww so cute. Puppy looks very similar my service dog/guard dog Milo." It's clear through Millie's eyes that there was zero chance she was going to move, but at least Dad asked nicely. Although we don't doubt for one minute that Dad takes care of Millie, this girl's girl isn't going to team up against her legal family member, even if for just one minute, and everyone's just going to have to respect that.
