Dedicated Border Collie Herds Cat Into Making the Right Decision
If you've never had a working breed dog, let me tell ya-if they don't have a dedicated job to perform, they'll find one themselves! I've mentioned my Corgi, Tater Tot, herding my kids and cats up the stairs many times, but there may be another pup who could out-herd even her!
Border Collie Sophie hasn't only mastered her role as protector in the home, but she's also the resident security guard. So when the cat gets into trouble, you can bet Sophie will be right there to sway the kitty into making better choices.

Funny - Gold-Tiger
The Border Collie's epic "hard-eye" is one of the herding dog's traits, and it's effective! Sometimes there's no need to nip at heels or corral anyone anywhere if you can just stare them down until they break. Sophie deserves a treat raise and a promotion for keeping the house and all its members in order!
It's not the first, or the only, time you'll find Sophie helping Mom out. She takes it upon herself to reinforce the rules whenever she sees fit, even if the cat isn't really doing anything wrong! She'd make a really good military sergeant with the gentle herding technique, as seen in this post:

Border Collies Love To Work
As some of the hardest-working breeds around, Border Collies get quite a thrill when they're working. Their high energy, intelligence, trainability, and athleticism make them excellent herding dogs for any farm (or house)! These pups truly thrive when they've got a job to do, so they can show how well they'll do it!
This isn't the right dog for couch potatoes, either. Collies will only enjoy snuggling after a long, hard day of proving themselves, and they live for the praise. Like with Sophie, that intense gaze known as "the herding eye" is enough to convince any animal to go wherever they're led.
Sophie is a special girl, just clocking in for her 9-to-5. It's all in a day's work when you're this awesome!
