You know you're full of excitement and joy when you walk into your house after a long day and see your dog waiting for you, tail wagging-but do you ever wonder what they look like waiting for you?

Fury the bulldog, of the YouTube channel @BigPawFury, loves to welcome dad home after a long day outside, and Fury's mom was kind enough to take a video of the anticipatory wait between truck parking and door opening, and the look on Fury's face is just too cute.

"The way his little feet start dancing when he sees his dad," the video caption reads as we watch Fury staring intently at the front door, waiting for his papa to walk in.

Fury turns back to his mom after a minute or so, his expression all antsy, wondering where his dad could be.

"Is he coming or what?" the video caption says, speaking for Fury. "I know I heard the engine,"

Finally, Fury's little behind starts bouncing around with excitement as his dad finally puts his key in the lock. Fury meets his dad outside, jumps onto his shins and brings his shoes into the house as Pharrell's song "Happy" plays over the video montage.

It's so wholesome and adorable, we just can't get enough of Fury's little happy dance.

"Those little stubby legs," one commenter agrees.

"My dog greets me the same, he also brings me shoes as a gift," another replies.

"The Fury shuffle," another laughs, naming Fury's happy dad-is-home dance.

Can Dogs Tell Time?

Dogs can't stare at the clock and count down the hours until their parents get home from work, but dogs are able to sense the approximate time you should be home based on routines.

The world of a dog is run by internal cues, such as hunger and the circadian sleep rhythm. They know about when to expect meals, walks and your comings and goings, as long as these routines have been established and schedules remain rather consistent.

It's because of these internal time signatures that a steady schedule is so important and meaningful to your dog. While you may say, "Oh, what's another 30 minutes?" and roll over in bed, your dog becomes confused and unsure when schedules change, or you don't come back from work at the usual time.

If your dog expects you home by 6 p.m., you can bet they'll be waiting by the door just like Fury waits for his dad. Bonus points if your dog does a little shuffling happy dance every time you walk through the door.
