At first, it's hard to watch. Not because anything dramatic is happening-but because you can feel how overwhelmed he is.
A black-and-white cat named Lucky sits tense and unsure, reacting to every sound like it might be something he needs to defend himself from. And when you realize he can't see what's around him, it shifts everything. Of course, he's scared. Of course, he's reacting this way.
@uncleneilshome After 4 years with the only family he ever knew, Lucky was abandoned by them at the shelter. He is blind, so everything and everyone felt like a threat. Imagine new sounds, new smells, loud noises, chaos, and imagine not being able to see what's happening around you. That's how Lucky felt. He was almost 3u+h@nized, until we said YES to giving him a chance. A once terrified and overwhelmed cat melted into the sweet, gentle boy who he really is. Lucky is heading into foster tomorrow night, and we could really use your help caring for him, vetting him, and helping him trust humans again. We're told that Lucky has seizures once every few months. We're going to get him vetted and schedule a neurologist consult ASAP.
