Boomer's morning routine has all the important elements: He goes outside, returns to give Dad a big hug, then gets straight to work greeting his fluffy little sister! Boomer, who's still somewhat of a puppy himself (albeit, a big one!), was made for this big brother role.

It's clear he takes pride in making sure Diya has a good start to her day, just like him. I didn't think there was anything better than watching one Samoyed navigate the world, but now I know it's this-two Samoyeds playing together!

But wait. The morning morphs into an even better, cuter interaction in the afternoon.

Little Diya wasn't getting the hang of the whole fetch thing. She gave it her all chasing the ball, but failed to understand she should've brought the ball back to Mom and Dad.

This is when Boomer came to the rescue!

As part of his big brother duties, Boomer sprang into action as a visual lesson for the puppy. While Mom held Diya, Boomer chased the ball, fetched it, and returned it to Mom. Guess what happened next-Diya took it all in and did exactly as Boomer showed her!

Why Two Samoyeds Are Better Than One

Samoyeds are said to be one of the sweetest, gentlest, and most affectionate dog breeds, so adding a Samoyed puppy to the mix doubles the fun. When you adopt a highly social dog who enjoys being around other playful pups, giving them a permanent bestie and playmate is one of the best ways to help them thrive.

These dogs aren't known to be aggressive and almost always welcome newcomers with open paws. But because they have lots of energy and take playtime seriously, puppies or other high-energy breeds work best as their new buddies, but they can sometimes overwhelm smaller dogs with their excitement levels.

As with any pup, socialization, exposure to other dogs, and a solid training base are key, but Boomer's a pretty good poster boy for how amazing a Samoyed will be with a new puppy. The gist? When in doubt, get your dog a dog, and you, too, can enjoy the best mornings like Boomer and Diya!
