Sphynx Cat Loves a Good Car Ride, and It's Way Too Cute

Cats are fiercely independent and known for loving their space, so much so that it's hard to imagine a sociable kitten that loves to be around others for a long time. That's why it is so shocking to find one who loves outdoor adventures, like car rides, as much as Marshall does.

Marshall is an adorably funny sphynx cat that isn't like most of his species. While other cats may loathe car rides and being out, Marshall sees no problem with enjoying a nice adventure. However, he doesn't enjoy car rides for just any reason; he loves them for one very specific purpose-to take a nap.

"I Want to Be Able to Nap as Good as Marshall Can"

While Marshall the Sphynx cat might enjoy a good car ride, it isn't for the reason most might think. He loves traveling by car because it's the perfect place for him to take a nap. Curled up, stretched out on his back, with his tongue out, and sitting up are all of the positions that Marshall enjoys taking a nap in the car. With so many clips of him peacefully napping in the car, it's really hard to blame him for his preference for that mode of transportation.

Rightfully, some cat parents in the comments were just a bit jealous, with many more being envious about the quality of naps Marshall takes. "I want to be able to nap as good as Marshall can," said one commenter.

Another user added, "He hates being uncomfortable in car rides, so he chooses to always be comfortable."

"When mum comes into the room and u have to pick a random sleeping position," joked another person.

What Are Sphynx Cats Like?

Besides loving a good nap, Marshall is a good example of what most sphynx cats are like. Very affectionate, extroverted and energetic, sphynx cats aren't your typical kittens. In general, sphynx cats don't like to be alone for long periods and can be a little clingy with their humans.

Because they are furless, these kittens require higher maintenance to prevent clogged pores, rashes, or infections. Weekly or bi-weekly baths are common, and routine ear cleanings are highly recommended.

Just as Marshall demonstrates, this cat breed can get cold easily, meaning humans will need to style them with sweaters regularly. Donning their favorite sweater in the sun, in the car, it's no wonder that Marshall gets the best naps.
