One of my favorite things to do with my grandma on the weekends is watch cooking shows with her. Whether it's someone calmly explaining how to make a delicious dinner, a bunch of chefs racing to make the best dish, or even some not-so-great chefs getting yelled at, every cooking show is fair game. We love them all.

I'm always interested in the tools used on these shows and how all their cutting boards look so nice. Then I usually glance over at our cutting board in our kitchen, and it's…definitely seen better days. Since summer will be here soon, I know that we're gonna need an upgrade before we fire up that grill in the backyard.

The other day, I was browsing Aldi's products online, looking for a birthday gift for my mom. That's when I noticed this amazing cutting board, and once I saw the price, I immediately knew that we needed it in our kitchen.

These sleek black Crofton Trays are just what we've been looking for. Returning June 3, 2026, they neatly fit inside the cutting board and can hold chopped tomatoes, onions, garlic, celery, and more. Any small kitchen will benefit from these.

One of the trays even has a built-in grater attachment, which I'm sure my grandma would love for the next time she's making her legendary mac and cheese.

A Simple but Reliable Kitchen Upgrade

There's a reason this cutting board has been going viral: it makes cooking easy.

Not everyone enjoys cooking (myself included), so any tool that makes it simpler and cleaner will almost always resonate with a large audience. These trays are a must-have for anyone looking to reduce stress and clutter while cooking.

Instead of your kitchen counters getting messy or your troublemaker puppy getting a free snack because some chopped-up meat or vegetables fell on the ground, your meal prep space will be free of chaos. Plus, it's a breeze to remove them from the cutting board and wash them once you're done.

Oh, and the best part? The board and three trays are only $13 each. In this day and age, that is an absolute steal!

With these cutting board trays, you'll look like a professional chef who actually knows how to maintain order in the kitchen this summer. Check out your local Aldi and get them for yourself before it's too late!
