This Dachshund Is Every Dog During Snack Time
Those who have had pets in the home will know there's nothing more dangerous than opening a snack in their presence. Whether they're asleep or in another room, our furry friends tend to have an extreme sense of hearing that lets them hear a snack miles away. Even if they can't have said snack, there's nothing that will keep these dogs away from taking a peek at what you're eating.
This detection system also heightens when there's cheese involved. This has now become the infamous "cheese tax," an unofficial rule that states pet parents can bring out cheese without giving some to their pets. While unofficial, we find that pets are very strict about this and don't appreciate being robbed of the cheese tax they're owed.

In this case, one pet mom learned the hard way that one cannot simply open a snack without an unwanted guest showing up within seconds, and the results are hilarious.

Eevee, the white dachshund, might be adorable and cuddly, but she isn't going to miss out on snacktime, no matter how quiet you try to be. In their latest social media clip, this curious dachshund stunned us all by showing up out of nowhere, just because his mom dared to open a bag of chips. Set to the tune of Adele's "Hello," this entire situation is a lesson in comedic timing.
Captioned with, "POV: Trying to snack when you live with a dachshund," we would guess that most pet parents feel the same way, regardless of the breed. Elsewhere, the dog mom also joked, "Every snack is OUR snack." No truer words have been spoken.
Meanwhile, in the comments, viewers couldn't relate enough to the struggle of sharing every snack with their pups. "I beat you to what ever was left!!! Now, please get more, just something I can really enjoy," joked one pet parent.
Another viewer added, "Pov: When you live with a dachshund. No when you live with a dog."
A user also commented, "Y'ALL EVERY SINGLE TIME," honing in on the fact that this is just a normal thing when living with dogs.
While we don't know if Eevee got her way, we do have to feel for all of the pet parents out there who have long come to terms with the fact that they must share almost all their snacks.
