Overmountain Cycles will offer more than bicycles at its new Morganton location

Overmountain Cycles has been around in Morganton for nearly a decade. Now, its owner, Mike Lowther, is making a long-held dream come true.

Lowther is moving Overmountain Cycles from its current location on Green Street to a new home at 355 Sanford Drive, Morganton, in the River Village shopping center.

In August, Lowther said the business will have a grand re-opening with food trucks, music and bike vendors and demos.

The new location in River Village previously held bike shops Cycle Right and Cycle Logic.
