Guinness World Records cites the largest cat ever recorded as a Maine Coon who stretched 48 inches (about 4 feet) from head to tail. That's a big kitty. By comparison, Pixel isn't even that long, but he still gets noted for his size. Sadly, this huge cat was surrendered, and he wants desperately to find his next family.

The clip opens by showing us the big orange but states, "Everyone stops to stare at me, but only to laugh at how big I am... I'm a sweet, round, and loving 9-year-old boy who really thinks I'm still just a tiny baby kitten." He's such a squish.

PIXEL, stop making us cry! This sweet kitty is 9 years old and misses his home dearly. He does great with cats and is extremely easy to handle. He loves to be pet and will show you his belly and purr so loud you can hear it from across the room! Pixel is currently at the Furkids Johns Creek PetSmart location. This location operates on an appointment only basis. To get an appointment to meet Pixel or other cats at this location, apply online at Furkids.org/adopt and one of our adoption counselors will be in touch shortly! #cats#sad#atl#adoptdontshop#catlover

"He does great with cats and is extremely easy to handle. He loves to be petted, and will show you his belly and purr so loud you can hear it from across the room!" the caption goes on to explain his winning personality. Sadly, neither his sweet disposition nor his handsome face has won him a new human.

Pixel currently lives at the Furkids Johns Creek PetSmart location, and numerous commenters want to meet him. Others posted to boost the signal and remark on his gorgeousness. @Sammy pointed out, "HIS EXTRA CHUB IS ALL THE LOVE STORED IN HIS LITTLE BODY." He must be the most loving cat ever. "He has such a sweet face. You can really tell he thinks he's just a baby (he is)," @rachel added.

Why Senior Cats Get Overlooked

All fur babies need forever homes, whether they're big or small, young or old, Tuxedo or orange. Some get overlooked, including seniors and Black Cats, who are less likely to be adopted. These felines can make excellent companions and live many more years, though.

The ASPCA explains the mistaken reasons people have for not wanting these pets: "Dangerous myths about these older animals often prevent them from being chosen, and in some cases, result in senior cats being among the first shelter animals to be euthanized. Common misconceptions include thinking that senior cats are less healthy than younger animals, less friendly, and harder to train."

Kitties on the older and bigger side, like Pixel, deserve a chance just the same.
