Amazon launches one-hour delivery service in Raleigh
Amazon on Thursday launched one- and two-hour delivery service for its Amazon Prime members in Raleigh.
The service is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. Two-hour delivery is free; one-hour delivery costs $7.99.
Customers can confirm that Amazon now delivers to their zip code by checking here.
Raleigh is the 25th city that Amazon has extended the service to. Customers can order tens of thousands of products using the company’s Prime Now mobile app.
Amazon customers pay $99 a year to be a member of the retailer’s Prime loyalty program, which it launched a decade ago. The program also gives customers unlimited streaming of videos and TV from Prime Instant Video as well as other benefits.
