The Colonial Pipeline Co., the company whose pipeline supplies most of North Carolina’s gasoline, will delay the reopening of sections of two pipelines.

The closed sections of the pipelines run from Houston to Lake Charles, LA.

Colonial Pipeline Co. closed a section of one pipeline carrying gasoline on Thursday due to flooding caused by Harvey. It closed a section of another pipeline carrying diesel and jet fuel on Wednesday. Both sections were projected to reopen on Sunday.

The pipeline carrying gasoline is now projected to reopen on Tuesday and the other on Monday, according to a statement from the company.

“Colonial continues to ship as much gasoline and other refined products as available from Louisiana-based refineries and other refineries on the Colonial system east of Lake Charles, and will continue to do so as markets return to normal,” according to the statement.
