How 2 of our local cooks did in the 'MasterChef' premiere. (The third is still to come.)
Only two of our three local cooks were featured on Wednesday night's season premiere of "MasterChef." Unfortunately, things didn't work out very well for them.
Jody Rhodes of Four Oaks and Hope McFarland of Clayton appeared in the second hour of the two-hour Fox premiere, but the show didn't let us see what they cooked or how their interactions with judges Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Aaron Sanchez went.
It just showed them in a quick montage of cooks who didn't go through to the next round.
The third Triangle contestant, Juni Cuevas of Raleigh, was shown briefly in a preview of next week's episode, which airs at 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 6.
