Plane crash reported near Franklin County airport
A plane has crashed near an airport in Louisburg, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.
The Triangle North Executive Airport is about 27 miles northeast of downtown Raleigh.
Terry Wright, chief of staff for the sheriff's office, referred further questions to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
