Fire in Raleigh townhouse leaves three people without their home
A fire early Sunday left three people without their home.
At 12:43 a.m., Raleigh firefighters were called to 2605 Hamlet Green Drive, where they found "heavy fire showing in the rear" of a two-story townhouse, according to a report. Firefighters needed hours to control the blaze, the report said.
No one was injured.
Fire investigator Lt. J.W. Pearce labeled the blaze "accidental."
The fire department brought in the Red Cross to assist the three people displaced by the fire.
