CSX to announce Johnston County project

CSX Corp. and Johnston County’s Economic Development Office will hold a media briefing Thursday to talk about a “critical infrastructure project” for Johnston, according to an email from the Raleigh office of APCO Worldwide, a public relations firm.

The railroad company and county agency say the “transformational development would affect eastern Johnston County and surrounding areas.”
