Peggy and Billy Griffin of Cary met when they were children living in the Methodist Orphanage. They began dating while there in 1950 and then got married in 1954. They organize an annual reunion for alumni every Easter at the North Raleigh Hilton Hotel in Raleigh. Peggy arrived at the orphanage in 1941 and left in 1953, and Billy arrived in 1946 and left in 1952.
