Teen found dead in Raleigh pool
Wake County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of a 17-year-old girl who was found Saturday afternoon in a pool at 2226 Valley Forge Drive in Raleigh.
Deputies were called to the scene at about 2:30 p.m. at the request of Wake County EMS, according to Sheriff's Office spokesman John D. Jones.
This incident occurred at the community pool in the North Raleigh subdivision of Heritage Point on Saturday between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., according to a news release.
The Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy Monday to determine the cause of death.
