Three injured in shooting on North Market Drive in Raleigh

Police are investigating a shooting early Sunday morning that left three people injured on North Market Drive.

Police responded to a reported shooting in the 1600 block of North Market Drive, a commercial area near the intersection of Wake Forest Road and Old Wake Forest Road, at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

The three people injured were not immediately identified, but police said they were taken to WakeMed for treatment. Police did not provide details on their injuries or conditions.

An investigation is ongoing and no other information was immediately available.
