US Homeland Security agents search Youngsville business
Federal agents searched a business on Flex Way on Tuesday for evidence, officials said, but they declined to discuss what they are investigating.
The search was at a company called Bolma Star Services, which says in filings with the North Carolina Secretary of State that it is a call center.
The agents were from Homeland Security Investigations, and the case does not involve immigration issues, regional ICE spokesman Bryan D. Cox said.
Cox said HSI agents investigate illegal cross-border movements of goods or people, but they do not focus on immigration violations.
Bolma was incorporated in Delaware in February 2016 and filed paperwork to operate in Youngsville later that month.
